General Matsika, one of the main characters in the intriguing book , The Ear the Eye, and the Arm is a unique character with interesting characteristics. He is Zimbabwe’s chief of security, and is very tough on his children, for example one time he made them do a numerous amount of pushups, until one day he couldn’t handle all this stress. He then, hired a mellower whose job is to compliment General Matsika, as well as his children, because he feels he needs something to calm him down, and I’m guessing his children would agree. In this book I feel that he is too hard on his kids, especially considering the age of his youngsters .
